"At Last, A Hard Boil Egg Cooker that Works!" 2010-02-10
By GV Dennis (USA)
I've followed every imaginable hard-cooked egg receipe ever invented and I've NEVER had continuous success with any of them. The fact that there is more than one proves my point. And everyone swares up and down about how their's is the only one in the world that works perfectly, each and every time. How you just look at the egg and the shell tumbles off, ha!

My friends, look no further for the perfect hard boiled egg cooker that steams the eggs done right and the shells are easily removed. And there are no pots and pans to clean up! Just open the Egg Cooker, pour water to the line, place the eggs in, zap for 6 to 8 minutes and shazam, their done.

"I had my doubts but this works!" 2010-02-04
By Janice Long (Oklahoma City, OK)
I was ordering other items so I could order this microwave egg cooker and not pay shipping. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product works great. I fixed 1 soft boiled and then put the rest back in to do hard boiled. The hard boiled eggs peeled easily and the yolks were bright yellow (with no gray around the yolk). I placed two in the refrigerator and left them there for a few days. When I got them out, they peeled fine and looked great. I'm very satisfied.

"Best thing since sliced bread!" 2010-02-01
By Sandra S. Kershaw (Fall River, MA)
My grandfather passed away last year and among his possessions was this

microwave egg cooker. I was a bit skeptical until I tried it. I don't boil eggs the conventional way on the stove in a pan anymore! And, since then I have bought one for each of my grown children and some friends. It is wonderful. (I even bought an extra for me just in case anything happens to this one.) I can't imagine being without it!

"It works with our microwave." 2010-01-24
By Lincoln County MT (Extreme NW Montana)
It works for hardboiled eggs with our microwave. Our microwave however isn't clear on what voltage so since it's a large model we tried 9 1/2 minutes for hardboil eggs and it works. Our electric EggHead cooker which we love noise and all makes up to 7 eggs. But I wanted a quicker and fewer egg system that is fairly dependable. So far it works and no problems with the top getting loose. But it is hot to the touch when you are done. I let the eggs sit in the unit for it to cool down some before taking out of oven. Be careful upon removing as it still has HOT water. Also sometimes the top where the hole is at has condensation that leaks out between the metal lining when you set the lid down on the counter. Not sure why this happens but some of the time it does. I've learned to watch for it and take a dry paper towel to the unit right away. We have hard water and the amount of sediment in the water can be substantial so we don't let it sit too long and clean it right away...another problem with your egghead the hard water is builds up on the heat element or plate so it doesn't seem to effect this cooker like that. Again I always clean and dry it immediately. Don't like soft boiled eggs in our house so use just for hardboiled ones which we use in salads mostly. I doubt if this would please everyone and I wouldn't want young children to use it for fear they would scald themselves. Otherwise it's simple and direct to use. You might want to copy or tape the directions inside a cuboard door so you don't lose them. I've found that helpful for other simple appliances too with simple directions on how to use.

"Lid Became Loose After Few Uses! Unsafe!" 2010-01-17
By jiffyscott
After only using this cooker about six times a section would no longer stay securely attached to the bottom portion and after cooking I had the misfortune of having to deal with just-boiled water leaking out of it as I tried to remove it from my overhead microwave. I discarded it due to this because it was unsafe and I hope it does not happen to others or cause injury. Very frustrating to say the least.
