My sister had bought this and I saw how quick and easy it was to make an egg in the microwave. The cooking time varies on your microwave, but I usually scramble one whole egg plus one egg white from another egg for about 35 to 50 seconds. You need to watch/listen to it or it could explode in your microwave even though it has a screw on top. I love it because it makes a fluffy egg I can quickly make, eat and clean up in the office kitchen without any oils. I wouldn't count on this to make a hard boiled egg, but I haven't tried. Overall, it is a great little invention and I would probably buy more than one...one to keep in the office, one to keep at home.

I really like this product as an alternative to the time consuming task of boiling eggs. If I want to make a quick tuna or potato salad, I can use this handy cooker to cook my egg and then I simply take out, let it cool off, and chop up my egg. I don't think this item is meant to replace all traditional methods of cooking eggs, but a quick easy way to cook eggs when you just need one or two eggs at a time.

1st I bought the Krups 230-70 Egg Express Egg cooker, which took too long to cook eggs and was a pain to use and clean up. We wanted soft boiled eggs, but even after cooking them, it's hard for our kids to eat them in their shell, and takes too long. So, in desperation, I thought I'd give these little guys a try. They work great! 25 seconds and you can have a nice, soft cooked egg, that you don't have to fight a shell to eat. The egg will not explode IF you pierce it with a knife or toothpick first. You add a few drops of water and the egg comes out clean, and perfect, plus it looks great on toast. The center is a perfect yellow color too! Don't spend the time or money on a machine that you have to wait for and struggle to keep clean. Buy this little guy and you won't be sorry!
