I have several nylon forks I use for cooking. I like them because they are relatively safe for non-stick cookware, and are flexible. They don't damage the coating. I was looking for more and could not find them in any store.



Then I found this one at Amazon, but the Amazon description is kind of sketchy, it doesn't give a whole lot of information. Checking the manufacturer's website (Norpro) I found that this a "HIGH HEAT NYLON FORK" 14" long. High heat resistant to 450F. That's about all the manufacturer's website says.



The fork is dark gray/black. It is fairly rigid, not as flexible as I'd have liked. So I reserve its use for a fork that requires its rigidity. Since it's heat resistant to 450F, it's good for use in boiling liquids, too. If you're not looking for flexibility, then this an OK product for you.

I purchased 4 of these almost 5 years ago, and they have lasted under repeated use, for microwave meals, through the dishwasher. One of the best products I have ever used!!!



The Only downside is thas after the 5 years, the seals are starting to weaken, hense the reason for the new purchase....



At this price, I'm stocking up, lol...

The Nordic Ware are great for heating and storing foods. My husband uses this size to take his meals to work in. The lids could be a little better. They are thin plastic. But overall they are a nice replacement to my old Littonware.
