Two trays, and a GREAT result! Microwave cooking has come a LONG way from the late 60's and 70's when my family first had one!
This product lets you steam the dog's or sausage. I first thought I would only use it for a quick way to make hot dogs ( and I do ) but it is also excellent for cooking sausage at breakfast, or to be included in another meal.
Unlike the paper towel method, you do NOT get hard as a rock burned ends, and an un-cooked middle. *Have we ALL been THERE?*.
This one is a winner, and the price is lower than what you find in stores.
Does it replicate a grill?--no, but it sure does provide an evenly cooked perfect product.
Reminds me of a hot dog one might get at a baseball stadium!~ Really!

It comes with two trays. One for hot dogs and one for sausages. I was using paper towles before, But that sucked all the juices out of the dogs. This won't. Well worth it.
