I needed a pair of tongs that wouldn't slip from wet or greasy hands. This product is great. Strong stainless steel with rubber inserts to help with the grip. I have a long pair too - that are perfect for working with outdoor grilling and smoking. These are the shorter ones and are just right for working with stove top cooking and serving. Oxo makes similar ones but I like these slightly better.

Tongs work great, good quality. Lock is stainless, so it should last a while. Previous tongs had a plastic lock that wore out over a couple of years and don't lock anymore.
