 "Classic, Smooth, Solid" 2009-11-10
By P. Bohning
Great set of 18/10 stainless steel demi-tasse spoons. Smooth lines, classical/traditional shape, elegant, yet unobtrusive design. Nice, solid feel with smooth surface. Non-staining and they've done well in my dishwasher.

Comes in a set of 4, but if you think you'll need more, I recommend buy a 2nd set in your first order to save on shipping when you buy more later.

"Does the job, a little small" 2009-12-06
By Stormy
Does its job, but smaller than I imagined. I wanted a strainer for loose leaf herbs, but this is more just for tea where its more concentrated, less bulky. I also have to fill the cup to the very top in order to steep the tea leaves, it doesn't hang down into the cup very far. If I could do it again, I would keep searching off-line for the right strainer.

 "Multi-purpose strainer" 2009-05-12
By Cricket (Seattle, Wa)
We bought this knowing it wouldn't be used for tea, but needed a small strainer and this was perfect. Our intended use was and is to pour our percolated coffee through when camping to catch any escaped coffee grounds. It's exactly what we needed and works great. Just set over the coffee cup and pour slowly. This purchase was made even better by the fact it's part of Amazons 4-for-3 deal!

We got 3 of these and then my mother and my husband's mother both wanted one so we had to go out and get more! They seem to be very popular.

 "Good quality" 2008-10-23

This is a well made strainer, and for $4 you can't go wrong.... I use it to catch any stray coffee grounds that may make it out of my french press while decanting. It works perfectly for that purpose.

 "Much smaller than expected" 2008-09-27
By AmazonJunkie (santa monica, california USA)
I purchased this to use as an over-cup strainer for coffee or tea. I figured I would pour whatever I had brewed through this strainer into a mug, but unfortunately, this is much smaller than the typical mouth of any cup or mug and doesn't hold enough tea leaves or coffee grains to be practical. It fills up quickly and you have to dump out the contents into the cup a few times before you get a full cup. I suppose it is useful when pouring from a kettle with a small spout (thus creating a small stream of liquid) and if there are not too many leaves or grains. I re-read the item description to determine if it specifically described the size and all I could see was the length measurement. Perhaps I missed it, but I would suggest that you make sure you have a specific use for this before purchasing.

 "Poor shipping" 2009-10-18
By Vegas gal (USA)
The product may have been good, however it was shipped without adequate protection, therefore it was ruined. The mesh was all smashed in. I was disappointed, as this was to be part of a gift. The product may have been just fine, it shipped properly. The means of shipping need to be reviewed by the merchants sending these items.

 "Cheap" 2009-01-11
By Matthew and Holly Cart (Akron, OH)
The latch on this tea ball pretty much doesn't work anymore. We purchased this just a few months ago. It worked well, although it was cheap, but now every time we use it, the latch comes open and all the tea leaves fall out. I would recommend getting one that is made better.

 "infuser" 2007-12-25
By Ronald D. Largent (Fort Worth, Texas)
The product is good and workes o k . But the catch is easily opened when in use. Tea leaves are released in the water. You have to restrain the tea before using.

 "Mesh Mash" 2004-07-01
By Jorge Barbarosa (the back 9)
I like a mesh tea-ball, but this one is hard to mess with. If you are going mesh look for the mesh balls incorporated with a tong like handle. Much easier to fill and steep with. You are going to get sediment with any type of tea ball and loose tea, but mesh balls minimize that somewhat. Not to fear, tea settles to the bottom of the cup rather quickly, just don't drink the dregs like a cowboy taking a shot of whiskey and you'll be just fine.

 "A quality product" 2003-10-08
By pg94au (Canada)
I purchased one of these tea balls from Eatons last year, and it is a fine product. The hinge and clasp appear sturdy enough to last. Even the mesh, if you dent it, looks as though it can simply be bent back into shape. I previously bought a Martha Stewart tea ball, and it was of unusably poor quality. The two halves were supposed to screw together, but you couldn't get them to hold... The only downside with this tea ball is that it is sometimes a fussy task to clean the mesh of any grit lodged in it.
