I am disappointed in these tongs. The main problem is that you cannot get a good grip on things (e.g., frying bacon) with them because they do not hold together well in the area you use to pick up things! They also slide against each other. I would not recommend these tongs.

Several sets were purchased to serve hors d'oeuvres at our son's wedding reception. When we saw how nice they looked and how well the tongs worked, we ordered a couple of more sets in quickly before the date. The green color coordinated well with the vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, etc. We actually received compliments on the tongs! When not in use, they nest together very nicely. The bride took several sets home; and I kept the rest for future use. Loved the tongs, and highly recommend them if you want something other than clear plastic or metal tongs. These were one of our neat "finds" for the wedding reception.
