This panel, made of stainless steel, is quite expensive, costing more than the microwave unit itself, but definitely finishes the kitchen with a very professional look and high quality.

It burned my butt to pay the same price for this trim kit as I did for the microwave upon which it sits, but it does look very nice.
Also, it's more than just a frame...it also has a plate that your microwave slides onto and a fan shroud you have to install to bring the exhaust out the front.
Be aware that the cutout parameters HAVE TO BE WITHIN 1/8" of an inch. (I had to cut & remove my shelf and rebuild)

This trim piece does what it is supposed to do - namely give a built in appearance to the microwave. It was straight forward to install. The tolerances for the opening that it fits are pretty strict; I had to sand down one of the dimensions of my cabinet to make it fit. The only drawback is the price; it is more than half the price of the microwave. That is the reason I gave it a four instead of a five star rating.

I agree completely with the prior review that this kit seems expensive but looks well built.
However, I was unable to install the kit because I didn't have enough space .... the required/minimum dimensions weren't listed by Amazon. When I got the kit (and the included instructions are MINIMAL), I went to the manufacturer's site hoping for more information and found that I didn't have enough room for this kit. So four stars, as it LOOKS like it would have been just perfect..... but Amazon needs to fix the listing (which I told them).
Amazon did a hassle-free return, which is a large part of what keeps me coming back.
