Ive used this product so far for picking up asparagus and green beans and it worked great and I don't think you can beat the price for the quality you're getting.

These stainless steel tongs are just the right size for small appetizer items, olives, cheese, shrimp, etc. They look nice on the table, too. I am purchasing 2 additional sets because they are so handy to have.

Although these are called "appetizer" tongs, they are perfect for serving dinner.
Don't be misled by the photo of the tongs holding a cherry tomato -- they're compact, yet sturdy and large enough to pick up asparagus spears, slices of meat, etc. The large cooking tongs I used previously worked fine for serving, but they weren't especially attractive on the dining table.
A pair of these stainless steel, dishwasher-safe tongs at the price I paid on Amazon.com was an amazing bargain.
The Progressive "Appetizer" Tongs are not only FUNCTIONAL, but the "X" and "O" design is FUN!
