This Microwave is perfect for the size and price! Once again Panasonic produced a product that dose just what it supposed to do! Nothing hidden, very simple operation, just read the instruction manual. I like the pop-out minute dial, power selection works great, and quiet as well. I am 6'1 and can read the functions without any problem, all lighting as you would expect. Cook's and Re-heats perfectly and has very clean fresh appearance on our counter top.

This only lasted one year because the button/door latch broke and now I cannot get the door open. I will never buy another Panasonic microwave again.

This is a nice one. 2 good things:
1. Control dial you just twist to set an amount of time, instead of typing the amount of time. Small thing, but nice.
2. This _truly_ adjusts power levels. With most microwaves, if you set them to 40% power, they alternate between full-power 40% of the time, then off the other 60% of the time. This one _really_ runs continuously at at any power level, and cook foods evenly.
Other than that, Microwave ovens are all pretty similar. Not a big difference compared to other models. I like the brushed metal look, which matches other things in the kitchen. Even though having a dial to set time is nice, there's still too many buttons on the thing. I accidentally pressed the "timer" button the first time I wanted to set the time, really you just turn the dial without any buttons pressed first... why does a microwave need more buttons than an iPod?
I can't see any problem with the display (as someone else mentioned.) The numbers are green LED with a little honeycomb texture over them, they seem visible enough from where I'm standing.
I've only been using this for a week. This wasn't the cheapest model for a microwave of its size. It works well, and I hope it lasts a while...

I searched for a while for a smaller (0.8 Cub. feet) microwave that not only heats the food evenly but also has a simple interface and a good look. I ordered through amazon and it came in a few days with UPS ground. The box had been damaged by a sharp cut on one f the edges, however, luckily the oven was not damaged. It looks great in the kitchen and it occupies much less room. The interface is pretty simple and easy to use and the knob is great compared to punching on a keypad which I always disliked.
People had complained about the LED display where it is not readbale form tilted angles. I knew this before I ordered (it was not a show stopper). However for those who have problem with this, here is the solution: Just stay away from the display by about 2.5 feet or more and the display is visible from a much wider angle and it is easily readable. Though Panasonic should have used a better quality LED display, but as I mentioned that issue goes away if you keep a 2.5 feet or more distance to read the display. I guess some of the people using it are looking at the display from close distances and experience that issue. So if you are near sighted and do not have your glasses or lenses, this could drive you crazy. For others it should be just fine.

I love this microwave. I wanted a smaller size microwave but one that could still fit a full size plate. I don't do very much besides warm up a dinner plate. So this one is perfect for what I needed. I love the look and the knob is a bonus. Overall wonderful microwave! I am very happy with my purchase.
