I bought an industrial cart a while back for heavy duty storage...this cart is the same construction. Really solid, easy to assemble, easy to change shelf position, very durable. Casters are not as smooth as they could be, but they're good enough, and there's a lock on one wheel so you can keep the cart stationary when you need to, which is a very nice feature. Very, very solid piece.

The Whitmore cart is the perfect solution to my need for a place to put my turkey cooker. It was easy to assemble and sturdy. The chrome metal finish should hold up for years. I didn't need to use the caster wheels and the cart is more sturdy without them.

In my limited experience, the whitmoor metal shelving is on par with metro at a much lower price-point. This cart is sturdy and works quite well for me except for one flaw I unfortunately found.
It was too late by the time I found out that my cart, with approximately 40lbs of weight on it, left tracks all over my hardwood. Upon inspection, it was easy to see that the wheels have a small lip on the inside of them from coming out of a mold. So instead of having an inch surface distributing the weight they had a fraction of an inch lip taking the weight and digging down into my floor. This was certainly unexpected and my new flooring is certainly now flawed to the visible eye.
While I could possibly try to sand down the lip, I now just use my cart as a stand instead. Live, learn, share.

I received my cart yesterday and put it together myself...once you figure out the instructions, it's pretty easy to put together (I got a little lost trying to find the screws that connect the two bars...finally realized they were already inserted at the end of one of the bars).
Anyway, it looks slightly bigger than what is pictured but it's the perfect size for where I wanted to put mine. I was disappointed for a few minutes when I realized that right when I was about to finish, one of the pieces that holds the shelves in place was split in half. However, someone with brains thought about including two extra ones so that definitely saved the day!
The casters could be better, but all in all it's a nice, strong and sturdy cart. Recommended indeed!
